In my opinion, LED light is better than HPS light

As far as I can see, at the same level power, LED's luminous efficiency is 90Lm/W, while HPS is 32.27Lm/W, So LED's LE is about 2.8 times of HPS. So a 600-watt HPS lamp is just getting the same luminous as a 215-watt LED, so you will save more money on the lamp and power consumption.
In the other way, a LED light can release the same full spectrum as the sunshine, it's warmer and lighter than an HPS lamp.
Besides, HPS lamps will release more heat than LEDs, so at the same distance HPS lamps will burn up leaves, and because an HPS lamp will release 360 degrees light, so it will hurt your eyes when you turn it on.

My 400 watt eye hortilux bulb puts out 55,000 initial lumens....how did you cone up with 32.27 lumen per watt??

55,000l ÷ 400w = 137.5 ..........lol

I get that OP didn't really get their info right, but saying 'chinese' is slightly racist\outdated.
Considering most diodes even in higher end product will have been made in china.
I know where the stereotype comes from because there is a lot of cheap shit coming out of China, but they also make the good stuff we use too.
So just saying "cheap blurple" is IMO the right way forward.

What's sad to me is the number of high end universities using blurple LED for their research projects.

Your mom's.

You're a troll or an idiot. Most likely both.

DDDDAAAAAMMMMMNNNN .... LOL
