In need of advice

Hello,

Until a few days ago I would say my plants were doing great. However a few days ago I noticed such things as yellowing of leaves, droppiness, tacoing. Mainly on the bottom leaves but some on higher, I attached photos.

What do you guys think my problem is and what would you suggest I do to fix/correct it? I was wondering if I was overwatering possibly, is the pot too small?

Would appreciate any advice.

What medium are you using? Nutrients? How much nutrients? pH of water and water/nutrient mix before feeding?
 
When my plants are doing great and one day they start looking bad it is usually rootbounded. I cant guarantee anything but that is my experience.

The aluminum dishes on the bottom of each pot is causing the water to stay, then to cause some rot rot.
also these pots are too small for the plants.
change the pots to bigger and dont water until you feel the weight of the pot, should be light.

What target?

What medium are you using? Soil could mean anything. It could mean nutrient saturated, or it could mean dirt dug up out of the back yard.

I'm asking for specifics, because they matter.

6-7 PH.

Aim for 6.5. Over seven, even slightly can cause uptake issues for Phosphorus, Magnesium and several micronutrients.

You need to start feeding nutrients. 1/4-1/2 dose of what your nutrient manufacturer recommends at first. pH your mixture after the nutrients have been mixed into the water.
 
I am going to say overwatered; you have necrosis and what looks like algae on the surface of your soil. Unless you have very poor water out of the tap (high PPM well water) distilled isn't doing you any favors. There is also no need to worry about PH in soil it will self buffer; I have never checked mine and never will.

That's what I was gonna say, except the part about never having to worry about pH in soil. I would suspect overwatering.

Too much Ca or lime can make the pH wanna rise higher than you want, just as adding too much acidic shit to the soil will make it wanna drop. And microbes can only do so much to buffer the pH.

I finally gave in, and bought the BlueLab soil pen, thanks Ren, it's a sick ass pen, lol.
