Hello,
First grow / scrog grow is nearly finished. After months of reading I finally got nearly everything close to right. The rdwc system/temps/humidity/ventilation/lighting etc for a beginner were all fairly good.. but then I went and stuffed up the scrogging part of it.
The plants looked healthy the entire grow, no wilting leaves, no deficiencies and growing around 2 inches per day during veg with close nodes.
The problem was when I flipped 12/12.. I initially grew the plants up to the scrog net untopped, when tops grew through the screen a bit i pulled tops back down and into the next outer square.. I filled around 70% of the screen and flipped 12/12, then everything went crazy. All the center holes that I previously filled with tops streched a good 2 feet towards the light..
Idiot me just bent everything back down level with the screen overlapping bud sites left, right and center.. and now the buds aren't that big at all and the grow seems stressed.. it's week 9 flower and hasn't grown much last few weeks. All the tops that grew towards the light and streched 2 feet are horizontal with wasted overlapped bud sites and all the tops only about half a foot above the screen.. when they probably would have been 3 feet if I left them.
Where were all the center screen tops supposed to go while I was still pulling all the outer screen tops down and into the next outer hole / How do you stop all the initial center of screen tops from growing towards the light while you are still filling the outer screen in transitional stretch?
All those 2 foot tops in the center that I pulled back down to the screen, I did this as I had no idea if they would of kept stretching while I was still filling the outer screen holes, and I would have run out of height, and it didn't make sense all tops in the center 2 feet tall and all outer stuff level with screen.
The exact name of strain is unknown, but I do know it is half sativa/ half indica.
Any help or link to proper scrog tutorials would be great as I really don't wanna stuff up my next grow.
Cheers
