Hey how are you guys doing.
Ive recently had a bunch of supplies and thing donated to me from a friend who upgraded his old garden. ive grown before but after doing a bunch of research what i thought was actually not that bad...was terrible.
i never got to try anything because back then i wasnt even smoking, more just growing because i wanted to try it, but now im legal and got this donation so i figure if im gonna do it again i want to do it right.
cool...so ill list the products i was given and im basicly asking if what i have id good enough for a good grow, or am i far off.
ill also list the strains i have, maybe you guys have some good info on them too.
i know that the light i have arent good enough but i figure ill just have to buy them, cool.

start out feeding the nutes at 1/2 strength. if you see leaf tiip and/or margin burns bak off to 1/4 strength. if they start showing yellow leaves from the bottom up then bump up the nutes. what is the cubic footage of your grow area? welkome to RIU brotha

Man your guy hooked you up yeah just read the the feed chart and start at 1/2 strength if they want more go full strength. How many plant grow is it might want to invest into a HID system.

Ocean Forest has nutrients in it already. I would wait until the dearies show signs of appetite before slinging nutes. I imagine you'll be researching "marijuana nutrient deficiencies" while the Ocean Forest has you covered. i used Happy Frog (a milder soil from the same firm) and it did my plants fine for two whole months. Wait before feeding!!!!!

The other thing to know is the quality of your water. TDS meter, municipal water analysis, or ideally both. cn

nice friend you got ther ;)

about all them nuts and soil .. dunno much .. new to this aswell .. but seems nice and I do recognize most of the names/brands ..

and it seems like you have most/all to get it startet ..

as some also suggestet and yourself mentions .. you do need more light .. but not nesseary now ..

if they CLFs are right Kelvin (and I bet they are) they can easily start off a few plants and grow em for a few weeks ..

start with a few seeds so you dont end up with way to many big plants and to littel light/ventilation/space/time aso.
use it as a learn by doing it and use the fist grow to get it going ..

if you etc. start 4 plants under them CLF I would suggest you to atlest get a 400W HPS for flowering .. but in a month will be good enough ..

you will also need some kind of ventilation/filter ..

2 reasons mostly ..

heat controle .. specialy with HPS ..

and odour .. as they will stink your hole house and the neighbours maybe once they get big ..

a few weeks in I could smell mine when I came home .. a few weeks more and I could hardly stay/sleep in the house .. a carbon filter and a 4" ventilation and 2 hrs and I couldnt smell **** anymore ...

but also for fresh air/co2 to the plants ..

a small 4" vent and filter to match will cost around +120$ can make a diy for maybe half if your creativ ..

so maybe 400$ to get the last stuff to make it a sucess .. sumthing like this :

All great advice ^^! Like said earlier, the light you have now should be good for the first month, but depending on space I would get at 400 watt HPS. Even if you go larger, you can always find a use for a 400, so it will never be a waste of money. You could flower with what you have, but it would only be good for like 1 plant and I am sure you would be happier with more - aren't we all lol. Anyways, welcome to the forum, I am new here also, although I have been lurking and have been on other forums for years. I find this forum has nice people and seems down to earth. Good luck on your grow!
