So I grow organic (try to just topdress ammendments) in a 5 gal soil for my scrog grows.
From my understanding the soil is depleted by the end of a grow and since the volume of soil is pretty low I can't really have a perpetual soil.
At the moment I just toss the soil in an empty composter and put foot scraps in it for a few months. Like an in-situ composting.
Should I re-add any of the amendments? like kelp meal, alfalfa, gypsum, oyster shell, crab meal? Do i add them in while the soil is in my composter or when I move it back into my buckets?
