Born in 70 so I "thought" we had some pretty cool toys back then.. some of my favorite were...
The Gi Joe ATV Aqua Car... now I could not find the original one... this is close or I am remembering it wrong... it looked way cooler back then had all this camo netting and gas tanks...
this thing is THE Big wheel to have had back then (they are currently reselling it it at target for $89.00) but I would have to loose more then half my body weight to ride it
cool thing about the green machine (young kids and ladies) was you had side to side breaking action!! you would go forward as fast as you can then basically "drift" into a turn.
After watching Star Wars we managed to get the Star Wars set for the Viewmaster... you kids with your internets are so spoiled!!

you could see thru his eye... what a concept..?
ok........... now THIS is the original Stretch Armstrong.. (we were to poor to get the green monster too)
This is not me.. but.. his expression conveys how I felt pulling that guy apart..
that lil effer has a gi joe and green machine there too!!! and evil kenievil stunt cycle to the far left.
we had our fare share of fun race tracks too the hot wheels ones we always broke you know the ones where you had to fit the plastic slat inside the other track? well my brother and I use to use those to "slap fight" it hurt like hell...
