increasing amount of light at the end of flowering?

i was watching a grow video on the youtube or something and this one guy was saying; "although many disagree, using 14 hours of light during the last two weeks of flowering greatly increases resin prod. on your buds." does this make any sense anyone? maybe because of the increased lighting period the plant tries to lock in more moisture by producing more resin, kindof when you have a really dry room. idk.

id keep it 12/12 but increase the red spectrum lights in my grow. that will increase buds and resin.

maybe try getting a uvb light in there too??
