Indoor Grow: HELP! Knowledge & Opinions on Lights and Methods are appreciated.

Hello, I'm going to be starting a new indoor grow soon. I've done three indoor auto-flower grows with a friend, in his house, before and he did most of the work so i know a couple basics but not everything.
I'm just starting to order everything as far as lights and seeds, as for soil, nutrients, fans and a few other miscellaneous items im going to go to my local hydro shop (im not using hydro, they just carry alot of items). I will be using Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil mixed with a little extra perlite, along with Fox Farm Nutrients Grow Big and Tiger Bloom. I have a Decent sized cabinet ill be working with, i dont have the exact measurements but i'm working with about 5' 6" - 6' Feet of height, probably about 4 feet wide and 3' 6" - 4' feet Deep. It's in the basement of my house. I am pretty much having to start from scratch with no supplies so if anyone has any good suggestions i am open to them.

  • LIGHTS
As for lights, like i said ive used T-5s before, they worked alright with a good result in product, just after reviewing other peoples grows with High Pressure Sodium and Metal Halides it seems to put out a better quality, quantity, and density. My reasons for T-5 is they are moderately effective for all stages of growing and that they get the job done at a low cost. I don't really know much about using HID lights, well actually i don't know anything about it at all. How much would it cost me to order a brand new setup for High Pressure Sodium or Metal Halide? I looked around a little and found some fixtures that can run both HPS and MH, Would i even want both? I know Metal Halides have a great blue spectrum so they are good for vegging, and from my little research HPS have a good red-orange spectrum which is good for flowering... i think? I have plenty of questions on just lighting alone so if anyone has alot of knowledge on lighting it would be highly appreciated.

  • SEEDS
Im going to be ordering some seeds from Nirvana Shop, as thats the site i trust, if there are any better seed banks that i can trust let me know. But for now i have a few choices selected and need help narrowing them down. All my choices are Indoor, Non-Auto, Feminized seeds. I'm between "Blackjack", "Chrystal", "Snow White", and "Wonder Women". I'm not sure if i wanna stray away from
Auto-flowers or not. I mean i have the height to stretch and i know an auto might not be the best choice for that, then again my previous box was only probably 3' feet tall.

  • METHOD
Again my first grow was in a smaller box and the most plants ive worked with at once was two plants, now with the size of my new box, i think i should be able to grow four at one time.
that is if i use the traditional method of just simply growing them. Then i stumbled upon the idea of splitting the box down the middle with a divider and vegging two on the left and then flowering two on the right to cut the period between harvests in half. (another reason id like some info on lighting). or as another option ive been doing my fair share of research on Scrogging the plants, i know if i were to do this the most i could possibly put in the cabinet would be two plants maybe even just one, But i am concerned with the yield, im not sure which way would leave me with more product.

Please help, cause as you can tell i am at a complete loss attempting this with my present knowledge.
