hey everyone, i am new here ,and i know you just can't walk right into the circle ,so i will be pretty active on here to let people know who i am ,and what i am about. i have been growing indoors for 6 years now,and i think i am ready to tackle the great outdoors. let me give you some backround before i ask my question... so i am on the east coast near dc,and out here we are getting some VERY mild weather for winter. my question is if i start a few plants now,and put them outside to finish before summer will they flower before the days get longer, or just keep vegging? i know it may sound like kind of a novice question, but i have zero outdoor experience other then growing veggies, and flowers at my community garden plot. any advice or knowledge would be very appreciated. be well ,and be safe :)

Depending on when you put out they should go straight to flower. It also depends on when put out will they finish or reveg. Give it a try let us know. dirrtyd

IMO you're too late, especially if you haven't started them yet.
I'm not even sure you could use a greenhouse to kept them from freezing in a DC winter. I've finished plants outdoors in late November and December in N CA. but those plants were vegged indoors for a couple of months and it was still too cold for them during the night.

Just my opinion though.
