Indoor Sativa Strain???

Is there any way to grow a Sativa indoors? I know the strain grows tall, but is there any way I could just change its lighting schedule when it reaches a certain height, so it can flower? Will it continue to grow in height throughout the flowering stage?

I'm growing a 90% sativa hybrid by Delicious Seeds called "Cotton Candy". It tripled in size when I flipped it. Ended up over 6 feet tall, had to move it from under the lights to in front of em. I'm growing a clone from it now that is about 30 inches tall. So yea you can grow em shorter. The clone was already mature and I started 12/12 when it was about a foot tall.

Depends on what you mean by "indoors". In a tent that is 5' tall? In a room with 10' ceilings?

I have 3 landrace sativas going right now. One did get too tall, but the clones I cut from it were vegged for a shorter time so I can manage the height. I also topped all three at the 3rd node. In any case, the "mother" of the 3 is the tallest at around 4.5' and it takes up all of one of my grow spaces, but I will be able to finish it at that height. It has been in 12/12 for 39 days now.
