Greetings fellow growers,
Not sure if it makes more sense to post this in the organics section, but figured I'd start here.
I'm thinking about trying a SIP setup for my next grow, and have been reading up the various threads on this and other growing sites. I am wondering how much SIP reservoirs raise the relative humidity in a tent. I'm growing in a 3' x 3' x 7' tent. I'm planning on doing two 20 gallon smart pots for my next grow, and will either run both as SIPs or just one so I can do a comparison on how much the SIP makes a difference in my setup. Below the smart pot I'll be putting a 13 gallon plastic container filled with lava rocks / water. I'll be using one of these containers for the reservoir:

On my current grow RH with lights on runs about 50%; lights off typically about 58% but sometimes in the low 60's. I am wondering what other folks' experience has been as far as how much RH typically goes up. I'm guessing I may need to get a dehumidifier, so also wondering if anyone has recommendations on a smallish one that might work well in my small space.
