Indoor soil?

Hey gang-


Does anyone have a suggestion as to what soil to use indoors? Ive loved and used foxfarm in the past, but it is a long drive to go buy.


The other forms Ive tried (miracle gro etc) have led to massive infestations of fungus gnats.

Im using mg soil right now.The only thing i suggest is make your own mix with mostly perlite.Works for me or a may be speaking too soon.

Problem with mixing your own is adding the right amount of lime to balance the PH. I use ProMix. Works well enough and I get good yields. Promix is a "soilless mix", 85% spaghnum peat moss, with perlite and vermiculite. Best thing is Ive NEVER encountered bugs from it. And thats a complaint I hear often, so think about that before you knock promix.

use any soiless soil, so its just dirt medium and then add nuits to water

Do indoor plants have a different soil requirement to outdoors?
