Indoor to outdoor Questions

1. Hey Guys: Have read the other Indoor outdoor posts and have a different set of questions. First I will layout what I have so far.Live in Western Canada at an elevation of 5000 feet (Mountains) so have a lot to learn. Afgans do it, so can I.

Set up a room to start my babies in, Proper ventelation, fans etc. have one 200W compact Flourescent ( cant remember how many lums, but a fair bit, Mogal base ) Have added 3 6500 lumen CF as well. Planted seedlings into 3" pots (March 15th.) and put under 16 on 8 off which is the same as the sun when I intend to put them out. End of May. Have been letting the room get down to 5 Celcius. (40 ish Farenheight?) to get them used to being in the Mountains. Fed them with 10-15-10 every other watering. ( All I had. town is 100k away. ) They sexed themselves a couple of weeks ago and got a few Hermies ( Stress? ) taken them and the males out. They are starting to flower like crazy and are only 8" to 10" tall.
They are root bound as hell and I am sure this is a hugh factor?

Questions:

1.) Will they revert to vegetative stage when planted outdoors? ( After 2 weeks of hardening to the sun ) I am afraid that they will be very small and continue to flower. Very low yield ( Boo HISS ) Will be going into prepared soil plots. (High times soil formula mix)

2.) Should I cut them back and if so when, how much?

3. ) Should I put them into 6"' pots now for the last few weeks inside?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you near the Sunshine Coast or inland?

Depending on strain, they should reveg.

Your summer days are very long, so you should get at least 60 days of veg before the plants start blooming in early August.

Depending on your summer temperatures, your plants should get at least five feet tall.

When's your first frost date?

Hmmmm... I just reread your post. Under a sixteen hour day, a normal plant shouldn't bloom, although they might show a few flowers.

If they are blooming hard, you may have an autoflowering strain, in which case they'll continue to bloom until finished.

What do you know about your seeds?

And YES, transplant them, ASAP!

Are they flowering or are they showing their preflowers? If they are under 16 hours of light they shouldn't be flowering yet. It depends on your situation, if you have room to transplant them into bigger pots I would for sure, but you'll find other people who wouldn't. your second question, do you mean cut back the amount of hours of light they recieve? if they are flowering already and you want them to revert to veg then increase if anything. Hope this helps a bit man, good luck to you

Rootbound; Seperate them now

when they go outside they will most deff go back to vegg so watch out for hermies.

If you transplant go ahead an get them in big enough pots, roots can grow very fast in loose enough soil.

Nutes are good now for what you have and what your doing just go with it. and dont burn them up.

Post pics so we can see your ladies.

Im an outdoor man my self and have been for the last 8 years if you have any questions just PM me ill hit you back. good luck and stay green.
