Well, when you consider TIME, SAFETY and WORK, there is no arguement to me. Especially comparing OUTDOOR SOIL to INDOOR Hydroponics.
OUTDOORS is early spring to late fall, or 6 months. They are getting light or darkness 12/12 or 10/14 or somewhere in between during VEG or Grow Stage. When it rains or they are watered, they get water, some food or nutes, and some small amounts of oxegen. There are bugs, deer, rabbits, hunters, thieves, and bad weather to contend with. Plus the narcs hunting your grow.
INDOORS IS ANYTIME during the year, and with 24/7 lights, or DOUBLE light, you cut that grow-time in half OR LESS. A lot less than 6 months!
With Hydroponics, they are always watered, always fed, and the extra additional OXEGEN makes a tremendous difference. And NO hunter or deer or thief will find them. Plants stay clean too. I've grown outdoors in large quanities, but never again.
