info on 125w cfl ? anybudy use n this

say this and have n troble people tell n me that n my closet i could never flower useing 8 40w cfls wich mmm am not the one to tell them there wrong am new at this watch ya guys think bout this light i found on ebay and how many would i need ? thx

i have one like that, but thats a lot to pay for it. theyre good for vegging, if you want to flower with one, get the 2700k coolwhite version. and stick your 8 40w cfls in as well!

I have 2 of the 2400k ones for flowering, i paid £18 each which is about $36.
It depends on how big your room is to how many you need but generally the more the merrier.

those plus your others around the side would be good for a few small plants. nearly 2x the lumens/watt as HID<~~~~~~~serious bullshit. won't get near as many lumens/watt as an HID (notice they don't specify the lumen output) you can expect to get about 10,000 lumens. don't get me wrong, it is a quality bulb, but after your plant gets just over a foot tall, lower leaves will start dying off from lack of light. that is where your other cfls will come into play.

the 105 watt cfl puts out only 6200 lumens and one i found that was 150 watts puts out 8000 lumens...im using both

I'm a week into flowering 2 plants with a 125w red cfl. They're quite happy with it, having vegged under 5 26w blues.

u can buy 250w cfl bulbs from ebay now and they are very good for veg,mother plants,cloning xD trust me ive seen a friends plant @ 2weeks old it was pretty shocking compared to my other mate hps @ 3weeks the cfl's were much more bushy not as tall but still cfl's won on with the ww seeds he used xD
