Howdy. I'm thinking of buying a controller. I run 2 KS 5000's. I'm looking for dim control and climate readi g and control with remote phone access. Any suggestions?

I just got a new carbon setup from ac. Seems like good stuff. I was looking at this controller and hoping it would come recommended here. I'm not a tech mind3d person but camp on the weekends, so the peace of mind at my fingertips seems as nice as a good bowl by the campfire

I have 5 of them. You would need their smart plug as well to control the light.

I vote for the AC Infinity units. They function very well. Internet setup is easy and the ability to integrate other equipment into it.
Been running it for 60 days now and no weird run away devices
Replacing my original garbage controller as the company phone is out of service and customer service is clueless.

Definitely would be a more expensive route but if you are serious about control capability, Agrowteks' GCX or GCX+ controller is an unrivaled modular system. They're almost endlessly customizable and very easily expandable up to 200 control points with no limit to the number of control functions that you can create.

You can connect and control anything with analog I/O, analog relays, and most equipment that utilizes ModBus (RTU and TCP/IP) communication protocol. If you're technically inclined, you get some seriously advanced control functionality with very robust remote capabilities (VNC access), legit data logging, and email/text alerting. Also, they don't charge subscription fees to utilize remote access or email alerting.

These things shit on every other out of the box system that exist and are absolutely worth the price.

With the Infinity controller can you do a sunrise to sunset dimming through program? Or is it just manual dim control from the phone or unit

I think we should start a thread with the trick and tips of the AC Infinity controllers. And what has become a standard item when joining different electronics the work around.
Started in 84 collecting data from a moving object have a little electronics time.

I brought this idea up with my last controller either no one has them or they are too embarrassed to bring it up.

I like the idea. Not sure why anyone would be embarrassed. Imo, it takes a big stress away. It's one thing to go away and have auto watering and other things auto but full control and being able to dial in your room using the graphs seems like a great way to make stellar smoke even better! For a new grower, the ac control isn't a big investment and I guess this old grower is seeing the usefulness of the tech age. No more big bulbs and cool tube's lmao!
