intake/exhaust 1 or the other?

ok ive got a grow on the go with intakes and exhausts,and everything,

ive took clones off that grow to veg while i flower them,,

for me new clone veg box i have only 1 spare fan,, so this is my question,,,?

i have 1 fan ,, is it better to have an intake or an exhaust?????????????

obviously all i have to do is choose wich way to mount the fan, for intake or exhaust

i aslo got a few spare alloy vents,,

any suggestions would be great,,

exhaust...
if your room/box is vented properly you'll be pulling in fresh air while pushing out the stale hot air

just y opinion though

yea thats what i thout,, if thers an exhaust then surely its gota bring fresh air in at the same time,,
but surely an intake would push stale air out?
so shud i have is as an exhaust then ,i was guna put in in the top above the lamp

intake isn't going to really push much air out... not at the same efficiency an exhaust fan will do.

intake will push air in. the air will have to find its own way out.
exhaust pulls air into and out of the area.

exhaust your veg cab and you will achieve "intake" in addition.

yip i think your right,, the intake will just circulate and mix the warm air in the cab and push old and new air out slowly threw the vent,, does that sound rite..

yea,, is goin good but think my big plants need re-pot they like 3foot tall in 6ltr pots,, im startin to get yellow fans starting from the bottom,, does this sound like my roots need some space? they are packed out with roots in them pots,, do u think thats the cause of the dying fans and slowing new growth?

sounds like NITROGEN DEFICIENCY WITH THE YELLOWING STARTING AT THE BOTTOM
but it could be related/due to being rootbound, also... repotting into bigger pots sounds good to me.

WHAT KIND OF LIGHT ARE YOU FLOWERING WITH?

when you will be flowering your 3ft plants how much light you gonna bathe them in?
are you doing any trianing (lst/supercropping/etc) ?

If you are flowering and are near finish the yellow/dying fan leaves is normal

As for hte roots killing the fan leaves NO..... all i have heard is when your roots a bound to the pot the plants simply stop growing ... will stay healthy as long as they have nuts...

If when u say the leaves are dying and u mean slowly yellow from the tips inward then that might be a nitrogen deficiency (very common in the vegetative state)


Im not a pro get someone to confirm

1085w for flower,, they all topped and fimmed,, im aiming for some big ass plants,, 6/7 foot tall, im flowering in 3weeks time,
ive attached a pic of 1 yellow leaf,,
does it liik like it needs more N or bigger pots,,,
pots will be arriving in 3days,

doesnt look like N deficiency, its not too yellow.. just light green... but the crisping and browing of the leaf in that pic looks like nute burn

problem now solved,,, n def...
repotted in canna terra profesional + soil (soil designed for my nute range) in some 3gal atami walma pots and bam the yellowing has stopped,
no way it was ever nute burn on that plant
plans are now rocking once again
more n fixed it,, but an n def sure does look like a magnesium def tho dunnit

that pic is really yellow that leaf,, the pic made it look darker than what it was
