i started some crimea blue and a strain called fast pine under 24/0 for a couple weeks, then took 3 crimea blue and 1 fast pine under 12/12 for 2 weeks
then...
i kept 2 crimea blue in 5 gallon pots and put outside in backyard
put 1 crimea blue into the ground
put fast pine into the ground
i also planted a different crimea blue outside from 24/0 into natural southern ontario sunlight in a half barrel
heres what happened:
all 12/12 started to flower indoors as expected
after putting outdoors, the crimea blue have continued to flower, the two in pots AND the one in the ground
the fast pine reverted to veg
the crimea into the barrel has not yet started to flower under the natural day/night cycle
my conclusion for souther ontario growers, finish outside early is strain dependent
