Interesting Situation

I have a case where I have germinated 2 white widow seeds. Each seed sprouted in 3 days which is out of the normal from what I have seen in my previous attempts. The interesting situation is that once each sprouted they were each placed in a 6" pot and placed under HPS. After about 8-9 days of being under lights another sprout has begun to protrude from the soil. WTF? Is there such things as twins? Is it possible to separate out the smaller of the two sprouts or should I just leave them both? Any thoughts or previous experiences will help and thanks in advance.

I just took a quick snap. They are currently in a dark period so I didnt want to snap too many. But this pit clearly shows to situation. I have another plant that is showing the same exact behavior.

I pulled the twins. In case it killed the other sibling but one a twin lived through lost of care.

I am now about 4 days into flower with the remaining sibling. Pictures to follow!
