PEACE ALL. I wanted to get the opinion of some people who have ran across a hermie or two intheir lives and actually learned from it. What I mean is from start to finish have seen a hermie and watched it's development throughout it's life cycle.
The question I have is DOES AN INTERSEXED PLANT START OUT AS THAT WAY OR DOES IT DEVELOP OVER TIME. IN OTHER WORDS: CAN A PLANT DURING IT'S PRE-FLOWERING STAGE SHOW BOTH SEXES AT THE SAME TIME OR IS IT A PROGRESSION AND YOU NEVER SEE IT UNTIL IT IS TOO LATE?
The reason for such is to figure out if the regular beans that I have are starting out intersexed or not. I have had 10 G-13 Poison Dwarf beans and the sexing is going on now. The one reason for the concern is that out of the 10 I lost one because of my own fault, 2 were confirmed males and the remaining are showing signs of being girls. Of course I would like to be happy about it but I have some fem Ak47 autos as well in the room and they are starting to show as well. I just don't want to get any hermies messing up the mix. I have the one boy separated (I want to "breed" them to get more beans) and I will look to get the other girls into their final home in the next two days.
So caan anyone tell me whether or not I can get hermies from a regular pack of beans from the beginning (no stress)? And has anyone ever gotten 7 females out of a regular pack that didn't turn hermie? If so than I am loving it right now
but I am not going to celebrate it yet because it is weird to me. I have heard of 6 females but 7 in a pack of reg beans
