I'm doing my first grow ever and i'm going straight to hydroponic. This question might seem dumb to certain people but I feel like my concern is still relevant and might help other people ;
I bought an irrigation hose as described here : http://www.rona.ca/en/hose---irrigation-hose
My question is : does anybody have knowledge that this hose let my nutrient solution go throught easily or only water particules will go throught ?
( sorry my class of solutions of chemicals is a little far )
Also, I started 2 soils grow to back me up on my hydroponic, one of which has sprouted already, the light have been on for 27 straight hours.
Question : should I go for 18/6 now or wait that the 2nd sprout also, is there any danger for my first sprout to be affected of having too much light ?
( I have 2x CFL 32W 6500K + 2x CFL 32W 5000K, a growtent and I used specially prepared soil for tropical plants as a start up for my soil )
Thanks
