is 0.5 grams per watt easy to achive from this?

Without knowing the strain, the number of plants you have, the style of growing you're using, or how skilled you are, yes it should be do-able from the room pictured.

I dont know can you? They look to be pretty healthy plants a 3 or 4 weeks into flower. The rest is up too you, you have what it takes to finish them......

yeah if you keep the plants happy and don't chop early looking at those photos you should be able to pull at least .5g/watt :)

well ive got 10 plants all skunk no1 (45 to 55 days flowering period) there grown in soil (bio bizz light mix) im using bio bizz nutes aswell (grow, bloom and topmax)i keep my temputures at around 75 -80f during the day and around 65 -70f during night times humidity is at around 55 to 65% and these pics are at 3 and a half weeks into flower just wondering if it is dificult to achive this half a gram per watt rule? i was hoping to achive about 600 grams out of this if posible so do u recon this is posible looking at these pics?
and what could i do at this stage to boost my yield?
would be very grateful for any help you can give me
thanx in advance :-)

We won't know until you know...gotta see those cola's start to fatten up a bit first :)

he is probably excited at his acheivement, and from the pics .5 shouldnt be difficult for you they look fantastic,
keep doing what youre doing.

How does this grams per watt work? All my yields are completely dependent on how big I let the plants veg. Am I missing something?

I put a 5 day veg plants to bud under 1200 watts and get 15 oz. .28 grams/watt.
I put a 9 day veg plants to bud under 1200 watts and get 27 oz. .6 grams/watt.
I screwed up big time and overvegged (14 days) a tray, over thirty strings and sticks holding up buds. FIVE pounds, 1.9 grams/watt.

Same lights, same clones, same nutes, different veg times are the only factor making a difference. Stuff the room with big plants and get more, leave space using younger plants and get less. Technique doesn't seem to matter in my grow, just time.

More time with same wattage is a larger plant, so how does grams per watt tell me anything about the grow? I have always wondered but have been reluctant to ask as some folks are testy about the unquestioned getting questioned.

Is there a standardized method I am unaware of?

usually max weight (dry weight) will work to a ratio of light, ie a good/decent grower will get 1 gpw equalling 600 grams.

well they are looking very healthy so far but to be honest dude i dont see me getting 1 gpw (1200g) i had a little problem i left the scrog grow to long and ended up with to many bud sites(as you can see in the pics) and now the lower stuff isnt getting as much light ive tried seperating the branches as much as i can but its far from your perfect. i have 2 x 600watt large adjust a wings if i get 600 grams off dried bud between the 2 lights i will be a very happy stoner :) but we will see how it goes i surpose lol

...this is so strain dependant.

lets say i got 2 ounces from one plant, with the same setup, i could get 6 ounces from this other strain. (same timeframe and everything)

the 2 ounce smoke would be better though.

even within one strain, there can be huge differences. even if its a stable strain, its probably gonna have at least 2 phenotypes.
been doing a bit of breeding, got one plant out of that breeding, that looks nothing like anything of its ancestry i put in there and nothing in the (at least) 5 generations since.
5 foot tall very sativa looking plant, in every way, tall skinny buds and all (small bud, inch of stem, small bud and its at the 8th week)

yet that plant has much more indica in its ancestry than anything else.

and then there is the question of density of buds.
