Is $35 worth 5000 lumens?

I'm on a site and this is the difference in the price vs. lumens:

Bulb #1 - 90'000 Lumens HPS Maxlume Bulb - $35
Bulb #2 - 95'000 Lumens HPS Solarmax Bulb - $70

I was wondering if it's worth the price difference in the end to go with the Solarmax, you know- like does it effect the potency or the yield or something?

For me, I'd rather have 2 of the $35 bulbs than 1 $70 bulb and no spare.

When flowering you want to use the bulb that has a higher lumes per watt. If those 2 lights are the same wattage I would pay more for the light that puts out more lumes per watt.

I read on a post somewhere here one day not too long ago anyways, it showed two (a test with instrumentation) lights with the same lumens equals more lumens.

Sorry but Lumens don't add up. Its the lux that adds up

Yeah it's only a difference of about 5% so I don't know if it's worth $35, I mean with the extra 35 I could put it towards a MH bulb.
