IS 600 watts ENOUGH??????

Grow room is 4 1/2 by 5 1/2... 9 plants... Is 600 enough or should I go with 1000??

a 600 would cover that space but if you can cool it and have good ventalation I would go with a 1000

for just you and your buddys, 600 watts will keep you all stoned. 1000 watts will keep the neiborhood Baked

I grow in a 5'x 3'x 7' grow box with a 600 and get great buds. All depends a 1000 would cover better but yes a 600 should be fine.

If you can cool it... 1000 would be better

If you have the money.. 2 600s would be best

No its too small. You need 50w per sq/ft so the 1000 will do.

Depends on what yields you are looking for. You might want to add some more question marks in your title though

I asked the same question when putting up my shit. I ended up going with the 1k and a large hood. I'm able to cool it and keep it fairly close to the canopy so I'm happy.

You could always add a few good CFLs to supplement which would keep the heat and cost down. But 1000 W definitely would get you more bud.

I put a 6 BUlb T5 in there for now. Hopefully that will do some good.

i have both [600&1000] a 1000w covers a 4x4 area good & im currently running the 600 & a 3x3 tub ebb & flow growing 9 plants but next grow im gonna try 6 plants here is a few pics of my current 9 plant 600w. hps grow the 1000w. will require more cooling but in your space 12 plants would work with 1000w.

3 weeks under the 600w.... Is it time to switch to bloom?
