Is a CFL Grow Really Cheaper?

I'm not too familiar with CFL grows but,

Considering an example deal on Amazon for a 400 watt Grow Light that comes with everything (ballast, MH bulb, HPS bulb, Wing Reflector & Rope Ratchet) for $130.

and a CFL setup needed to produce DECENT yields, including the bulbs, electricity expense, and the fixtures, would the CFL grow be noticeably cheaper?

(If this is the most retarded question ever posted on the forum, there's no need to answer)

Peace!

ok . use cfl. best to start young ones and clones. the mh bulb wont start root on a clone . ok it will start a root but horrible bad , low success rate compared to cfl but the mh bulb does grow a bit faster then cfl. if I were new I would just buy cfl veg and after a few good grows get the mh, and for flowering don't use cfl. its not the best you will be much !! happier with the hps !! unless your not stressed for profit, hps quality is much better, ive seen it all . take this free advice.

for got to answer your cheaper , question. cfl are cheaper to run , cooler, but put it this way. you have a bunch of buddies over you pull out a cfl nugget and they don't want to insult and smoke it . or you use hps and your buddies are smelling it smiling,. and cant wait to light up the best shit ever. nice dence large buds its worth a few extra dollars a month to operate

Just buy the HPS kit. I spent over $200 trying to save money going the CFL route and didnt realize how much I spent till I added up all my reciepts. Needless to say I returned everything and got a 600w system and wish I would have just done it from the beginning.
