Is ac overkill in my setup?

Hey guys... i just rigged up my setup 3 weeks ago and my max temps are 81 around 20" away..

I have a 4x4 tent with a 600w mh/hpscombo with ac hood.
6" carbon filter and 6" inline fan..
Passive intake. 2 clip on fans inside tent throwing airaround

So my tent sits by one window in my basement where i draw fresh air from.. then my exhaust goes.. carbon>lights>fan(outoftent)>nextroom over to a window.. dont have itdirectly going outside yet but i think i willsoon. The air blows towards the window and i just open it from time to time...

Anyways with all that i get a high of 81 lights on 20" away.. summers just kicking off is ac overkill?

if you can keep it at 81, no a/c needed. if not, yep.

If ur n the basement and it's only getting to 81 I would leave it b the ac would take it way low and u don't want ur temps jumping up and down

Ive never seen ac being over kill. And if the summers just kicking off? It may rise ten degrees and 91 is good if you want stretchy, leggy plants that cant support their weight.

I just switched my ballast from 100% to 75% and it goes from 82 to 77 so ill roll with that for summer
