You're going to have to read labels VERY closely.
AVOID:Hydrated, quick, burnt, slaked lime. These have been chemically altered and you just don't want them.
Lime is just ground up limestone. The finer it is ground, the faster it works. So, *Fast Acting* could be really finely ground or, it could be hydrated, which works too fast.
I see you're in NC, not very far from me. I almost bought a 100# bag of dolomite at TSC for cheap till close examination of the label ingredients said 'hydrated lime'. So, you have to watch it around here, farmers use it quite a bit in the fields and not quite how we use it.
Dolomite lime (the label should say 'dolomitic limestone'), Garden lime or Sweet lime (usually Calcitic limestone).
Lowes has it in 40# bags, both powdered and pellets. Mine says *Garden Lime* and underneath, 'Ground Dolomitic Limestone'. Cost ~$5.
