I've been trying to sex this plant, it's been flowering for about 5 to 6 days. These are the best pics I can get sorry if they're a bit fuzzy.

The plant was in vegetative growth for four weeks.

And in flowering for five days.

well its neither yet, give it at least another week, the three plants i put into flower two weeks ago have yet to show sex man, growin weed takes patience

From what I understood, when the plant starts to flower, it either produces hairs or pistols. And this picture looks like it's starting to develop pistols.

Yes but what you also must understand is that male and female pre-flowers look similar to begin with and it is often hard to distinguish for the first several days. A flowering male will grow a pod or several pods at the nodes while a female will start out as a tulip shaped calyx and have a distinguishable white hair growing out. Since you have neither you need to wait till your plant grows. Be patient. If you want to spend money to speed this process up next time I would suggest getting some AN Bud Blood. Last time I had all my plants sexed in three days. I would also look into a thread or two about sexing or look it up in the FAQ.

tl;dr:Be patient, read up on sexing, and buy some Bud Blood if you want.
