Is it bad if leaves hit side?

I am doing a feminised lowryder grown in a o
Pc case. The diameter is only 7 inches. So I am guessing that the leaves would be hitting the side of the case. Would the plant still survive with that little amount of space? And he case is only about 18 inches tall.

What do you think, you put a light in there and you have 14" your going to need somewhere for the roots to grow so you got 4 " of medium. Now you have 10" of grow space.

Think Bonsai man. use a 2" container to bound the roots and start your light cycle off at 12/12 dont try and veg. when it gets too close to the light, bend it.

Oh yea, its ok for the leaves to touch the sides.

Don't vegitate? won't that make it go straight into flowering? i was thinking of going 18/6 till it was of desired height then going 12/12?? Wat about that?

Naw man listen to Cruzer. Don't vegg cuz your gong to get unexpected growth during flowering it's hard to tell where your plant is going to decide to stop growing while flowering. Just go rite into flowering & hope she doesn't need more space even with out the vegging.

Lowryder is an auto flowering strain which means it will flower once it needs to. Basically, put it to 18/6 through out the whole process and never change that. They will flower don't worry, they are MADE to flower through 18/6. As for height, look up LST or SCROG on the forum. LST is probably best. It's juste tying the plant down whenever you can and get better yield with it too.

Good luck :).

Rememeber that you need ALOT OF LIGHT. Go with as much as you can. You never have enough of them ;).

I know lowryder is an auto flower. But I believe with about 10 inches of vertical grow space 18/6 will overgrow the area.

Good luck.
