Is it damaging to cut off a sample towards the last few weeks?

Hola, im at 8 week flowering but xmas is just about here soo I was curious if it damages the plant to cut a branch off for a sample. Have quite a few buds that look like 2-3 grams each. Wanna be able to dry for a few days and cure it a few before xmas.

That close to finish it should not be an issue. Just remember though you will loose approx 75% of the weight from drying the bud.

its fine, you can harvest bud by bud if you want.
