Is it due to light burn ?

I am growing inside for the first time. Now , there are some issues occurring with my plants(which are 12 days old) for which I have attached the images for reference purpose.

Is it due to,

1. Light burn - There are 3 X 27 W cool daylight CFL(6500K). Bulbs are around 40 cm from the tip of plant.

2. pH - Earlier it was 8 but last night I managed it to make 6.8.

3. Overwatering


Is the plant permanently damaged or is there any way possible to make it healthy.

That plant looks fucked up dude, I would start over with some good seeds, soil, lighting, etc

Why do people bother growing if they aren't gona do it right? Waste of time

Bro are those from seed?

I doubt cfl at 15" is causing an issue. I use 100 true watt cfl within 3" of seedlings.

Both over watering and fucking with pH could give those symptoms
 
Hungry, too much water and overwatering is essentially bad pH.

Let it properly dry before watering a few times and growth will resume
 
nute burn, look at your leaf tips, all brown,, good job getting your ph better, lights are fine,, get your lights closer actually,
what soil are you in>?,, are you adding any nutes?

I doubt that plant will survive. It's all yellow and brown, probably very close to death. It'll dwindle for weeks and eventually die altogether. Best to start over

I am using Potting Soil and added Dolomite powder and vermi compost to the soil. I have not added any other nutrient till now.

Should I throw the plant away and start over?
 
what type of potting soil,, for instance some miracle grow soils are way to HOT for seedlings,, cooks them
no dont start over,, you have lots of new leafs going to grow yet,,

Nah its hard to kill a plant. Its in bad shape but can be slowly fixed back to life. I've seen worse then that lol. I will agree with starting over however if its all he got, he could save them.
 
I have total 8 plants(seedlings) out of which 4 are in a bad shape.

The weed which I buy is spiked with some chemicals and that's why I want to grow weed and smoke good stuff. I am learning and that's why I am using seeds from weed bag which I smoked. Once I feel confident, I will buy good seeds.

your doing fine bro,, we all started where you are now, you will find most everyone here is very helpful
 
Defo wont be light burn from those bulbs. I have had my seedlings touching them and that didn't burn them either. Probably ph fluctuation, too alkaline, therefore not absorbing what they need. They will survive. They can take a beating, may be in shock for a while but they should be ok eventually. Be careful not to water until they need because they may not uptake much been in shock.

Proper soil, lights, watering, etc. Obv OP fucked up everything. Probably used miracle grow and watered the shit out of it. Maybe he even gave it nutes. Who knows. All i know is that plant will not survive.

Everybody has to start some where. When someone asks for help thats what these forums are for believe it or not.If you have nothing of value to add move the fuck along.

Don't take it so personally. OP can save time and money by killing that thing and starting over properly. Tough love <3

And just what is proper lighting? Led, cfl, hps,mh, ? What is proper soil? Fox farms? Promix? Home made? Why don't you enlighten us?

Just depends on what he wants to go with. I personally like fox farms and HPS. Ideally you make your own soil and get some insanely good LEDs, and not that cheap chinese shit, but again, up to OP
