Is it OK to lie to make a living?

Do you believe it's OK for people to make a living this way?

  • Yes, I don't see anything wrong with it, if someone wants to pay them, who cares?

John Edward, Sylvia Browne, Uri Geller, etc. - Do you believe it's OK for these people, and people like them, to be doing what they're doing, or what they've done, to make a living?

Is it a form of entertainment? Is it worth whatever someone is willing to pay? Or is it wrong because they claim absolute truth and sell people a product they think they're getting that they actually aren't?

What's your take? Opinions?

Modern snake oil salesmen in a manner of speaking? Power to them if they get away with it, however, in the end, they are the ones who have to deal with what they've done and how they lived

I think karma will add up, they're trying to find a niche market of susceptible people to make money. I find it dirty. Unless they truly believe in their heart they really are helping.. Unlikely though.

all kinds of jobs require lying to get by..... but these "psychics" and shit, really upset me.... they're con men/women that prey on (mostly) middle aged-older ladies that are lonely and looking for something, and should be prosecuted as such.
