Is it ok to store seeds in the fridge?

Fridge is the best place to store seeds and there is no shelf life in there.
I know friends that popped seeds successfully at 30+ years that came from the fridge.

I vacuum seal my seeds with rice in the bag to absorb any excess moisture, place those bags in an envelope, and place said envelope in the freezer. With each new grow just pull the seeds out, revacuum bag, into envelope, and back into freezer until next grow. Just make sure you let the seeds get to room temp before popping them.
