is it ok top a mother plant

i have a few mother plants and i topped one of my blue cheese plants two nodes down on the main stem its about 18 inches tall right now will this affect vigorous growth and the clones i take from it?

it will create more bud sites which means more clones,
wise of you to do that

As above, More clones for you and bud too if you flower it when your finished.

It will slow down vertical growth, i dont know that you mean by effecting clones though.
