Pretty straight forward.I'm looking at getting about 8000 lumens per sq ft in a 3×6 area with one 1000w super hps hortilux so 2 sq meters would it be possible to pull a lb per plant?
P.s. and this area is just a section of a room would I have to section it off with panda film?

Yes that is possible with two plants under a1000 watter..I've grown 4 lbs with basically the same setup..
Just do a longer 8-10 week veg cycle..
 
I usually do 8 weeks. Is that with lst? Would I have to start using co2? And do i need to section off the 3'×6' area or just center the hood above the 3'×6' area

Lst for sure.. I've never used co2.. I usually set my light a little toward one end to give me room to work..
If your tent has good access put it in the middle... sounds like a plan!
 
It's not a tent it's a 3'×6' area out of a 6'×12' room and any tips for lst never had much luck
Also how close too tops with hood

Just top at the third node .. this will make two.. let these grow out an top them at the first node. this will give you four main colas...
 
Ok cool so 3rd node so that's the first multi bladed leaf? And then the first node on both of the two colas that come after right?
 
I just have a hard time getting this well 4 not 8 and it's annoying
