Maybe it's me being paranoid or stupid one of the 2 lol. Anyways i'm currently growing 2 lowryder-2 plants in a cab in my wardrobe. Is it possible for them to smell already! I'm only on day-8! But i'm sure i can smell them if i leave my room for a few hours then come back. Can they really be smelling already after only 8 days? Thanks.

Assuming a wardrobe is a closet, you're gonna need to move your work clothes, at least . . . the stink'll come and go in conjunction with it's maturity. I find mine reek the best when they're starting to need water, and the smell increases as your planter dries even more. They also smell stronger when they're hot.

Ok then thx, i do have a carbon filter but don't hav it set up at the moment, didnt think i'd need it till they started flowering. What are people opinions, should i put my carbon filter on, or is it a bit earily really? Just don't want the whole house to be smelling when i get up in the morning!

If you have it id use it. it will also pull hot air from the grow as well so its good all around.

Really?! i didn't know it did that, thought it just helped with the smell. Yer maybe i will then but that means changing back to my louder fan which i didn't really want to be doing at this stage so early on.

I haven't grown LR2, but my strain smelled early in veg, then really nothing after that week or so all the way through harvest.

It helps with the smell by pulling air through the filter. That air is also hot. If you vent it out of the room you will be removing the smell as well as the hot air.
