I have a plant that’s mature it’s almost ready but I have no idea if it is or not for most potency. These are my pictures hopefully somebody will be able to tell me if it’s ready or not

I'm no expert but I'm betting some pics under regular light will help the guys here give you a much better answer.

Looks great!

I say another 2 weeks too . Let her pubes ( pistils) color off and pull back . I think some weight could be added too.

You might ALSO look at partial harvest options.
Meaning if top colas are maturing faster than say mids and lowers .... you can harvest the most mature and let the NEAR FINISHED ones stay and mature til ready.

Lookin good

Kind of hard to tell with those pics under the light, but look pretty close. It's said over and over, but you've got to get a scope to know for sure. It's a piece of mandatory equipment for growing. Just a cheap 60x off eBay will let you see the trichomes pretty easily.

Too much fresh pistil growth, that plant is still making bud for you. They need minimum 2 weeks, could be 3 weeks still for a properly swollen and ripe plant.

Please go read some of the 100 other "are these ready yet threads". Look at their plants and at the responses we give them, and compare them to your plants. Cannabis plants are honestly VERY predictable once you learn to watch for the signs they give you.

Here is the basic guideline I offer most new growers that ask:

Determining maturity isn't about one single factor, its about watching ALL the signs the plant is giving you. As you grow more plants you will begin to be able to read those signs, and understand what point your plant is at.

FIRST the stigma(pistils) will turn red and begin to actually shrink/shrivel back towards the buds. Once 90%+ or the pistils have done that, THEN the bracts(calyxs) will begin to fatten up internally. The buds won't be appearing to grow much outwardly at this point but will be adding density and weight still. Your plant is almost to this point. I've watched strong stems bend over in just a couple days during this period from the added mass. That swelling usually takes about 1-3 weeks.

FINALLY AFTER the stigma have turned, and AFTER the bracts have swollen Then you can look at trichomes on the actual buds and determine your final harvest point if you like. Once you have grown a decent amount of plants you probably won't bother looking at the trichomes any more because you will understand your plant, and be able to watch for it to "look done". I haven't checked trichomes in years, and neither do most of the long-time growers.

There are plenty of variables that can alter time periods, but for the most part cannabis plants follow pretty consistent patterns of growth and ripening. Ignore anything the breeder said about flowering time, and just watch your plant for the signs I mentioned.

It is VERY EASY to harvest a plant too early and loose out on flavor, smell, yield, and overall quality.

It is VERY HARD to over ripen a plant. I have never seen someone accidentally do it without ignoring plants for WEEKS.

The best smoke comes from fully ripened healthy plants.
