Is it really possible to grow your plant in a way that will make a specific high?

..regardless of strain.
I've been flicking through some threads and I came across a post about harvesting and curing.
Basically the jist of the comment was if you harvest/cure this way you get a more cerebral high but if you harvest/cure the other way you get a more couch lock high.
My understanding as a noob is that these highs are determined by the indica/sativa thing?
So my question is, if I am going for the majorest couch lock in history (which I am) and growing a pure Indica, what harvesting/curing methods can I utilise to make the couch lock more powerful?

First, Google: Trichome Color + Harvest... you must know how that works... Answer: You'll want a late harvest; which means as many Amber trichomes as you can develop without letting them degrade to the point of having broken or severely bent trichome stalks with brown heads..
A late harvest will convert most of your THC to CBD and literally sew you into your couch. I'm doing this right now with a plant GL

I like the simple conclusion, late as healthily possible harvest = couch lock.
Bring on the SNES..

you can influence the outcome to an extent, this also play into genetics and variables they are able to create. in short tho, no, not in the way you are thinking, you will never have complete quality control over the finished product.

Be careful with that, because that's not to say wait as long as possible. Remember the more you wait the more it degrades in potency (past a certain point).

Genetics,good environment and to some extent drying/curing are what make the high.

Don't do that.
An amber trichome means it has degraded and has been converted to cbn, not cbd.
An amber trichome has a bout 90% less thc.

Amber trichomes (CBN) make you feel ill.
As soon as I see amber on the leaves, it is time to pull.

you pull at amber on the leaves? or buds?

False.

Amber Trics DONOT represent CBD. Amber means the THC and all other canniboids have begun to degrade and only retain about 25% of their potency.

Clear trichs are immature cannaboids, Cloudy are mature cannaboids, Amber is spoiled canniboids.

Harvest when cloudy.

The type of high depends on the strain.
