Ive always been told when a 1/4 of the trichomes (hairs) are red its time to cut them down. Im still pretty new but I would put some pictures up so we know what we're dealing with.

pics are good but i like to harvest between 70-90% amber hairs it just depends on the smoke u like and when the buds smell and look tastiest, so its up to u really

you can judge flowering time by color of pistil hair but that's not the best way to do it. The best way is to get a magnifying glass or hand held microscope ~30x and look at the trichomes. This are little golf tee looking things that start off clear and slowly turn white. After turning white they start turning amber. Depending on what kind of high you want determines when you should harvest. If you harvest earlier with no amber trichomes it will be a more head high, if you harvest later with some ambers you will have more of a couch lock high. These trichomes are the thc that get you high, once they start turning amber it means the plant has peaked it's thc potency. Hope this helps.

Your growing super silver haze.... it should take a while to flower. If its only been 2 months thats 8 weeks. It will more then likely take 9-10. However like others said you need to get a good scope and check out those trichomes. I would run haze till you have about 40% amber. So yeah I would flush it now. Make sure you flush it with atleast 2 times the size of your container with ph'd water!. I believe they reccomend 3 times your container size, but make sure you atleast do 2.

Best of luck with the rest your grow mate <3

ps. would love to see pics

I have grown the Super Silver Haze twice now and I can tell you you need at least 11 weeks to flower that strain. I grew mine to 12 weeks and the smoke was good, although it could've gone longer. Honestly, unless time is an issue for you, let the SS Haze flower the 13 weeks and you will not regret it. The only disadvantage to cutting early is you lose all the end of flowering resin production, which is where a big quantity is developed. Good luck mate, keep us updated on the progress

To each their own but I wouldn’t want to take the head high from a Haze and dull it by letting so many trichs go amber. I would take it when it was all milky or just a very few trichs turned amber and the rest were milky.

But then I always loved that Mt. Everest-like altitude head high more than anything else.

It all depends on what you want I guess man, I personally love the heavy high of a good Sativa, so I let the plant run it's full 11-13 weeks for it's full resin production. The way I see it, you've grown already for that long, you may as well get the most of your girls, Haze is a time consumer, but it's worth it 100%. If you're flushing correctly, your leaves should minorly discolor to a yellow and prepare to fall off (I've found that my plants react this way)

Update on and old grow
I did let them go to about 13-14 weeks and although I don't smoke my patients said it was the best meds they had ever tried. My patients are all day stoners and one told me it was a strong 4-5 hour head high in which he had never experienced before. I still have the strain and also a 1 once bud that has been jared for over 1.5 yrs now. I give little bits out at holidays and I'm told it's the smoothest smoke most have ever had. It is however a PIA to grow as it gets huge.
