Hi all, as alot of you will know I have had a total knightmare on my first trial plant from nute burn, spider mights... Which all cleared but the last week all my leaves are dying and shriveling up. Is it worth carrying on or just cut the plant and see how it drys out and try all over again... Ut not with same mistakes I have made lolIMG_20191024_171114.jpgIMG_20191024_165510.jpgIMG_20191024_165500.jpgIMG_20191024_171114.jpgIMG_20191024_165510.jpgIMG_20191024_165500.jpg

No all you need is a piece of string and a room that gets air exchange from door or window. Hang bud from string like a clothes line freely in the room and await two weeks. Bud should smoke after a week but taste much better after two.

Your bud is not great, dont expect much, it might get a little crispy after two weeks but to be expected. It is bud and you done well to complete, ive had a lot of shit nuds get me very high but taste and smell wasnt alltogether there.

Exciting times my friend :-)

so what you want and what you got ain't the same...

so the kid throws the rattle outta the crib...?

Every grower goes thru this..in their first or 2nd grow..the issue here is really you
and the way you try to accept yourself in the world

I bet you learned to drive even fuck the same way..?
bashing yourself about in a driver seat even a vag?

you will stumble onto the next 'exciting' thing in your life once you bummed out here
and yes bum out on that too
its called being a looser at least in Russia
you can console yourself, you ain't the only one

or you could chill out and read a book and get into the study of all this

and yeah its fun

good luck

Being a spider mite infestation and probably chemical sprayed to fix the problem, I would throw it in the trash and use it as a lesson.

This guy's been in all sorts of threads on drying talkin like he's some kind of expert. But his advice is shit. Don't just leave your buds out in the open air to dry for 2 weeks. That might work for some plants in some conditions, but if your rooms a little hotter or dryer or your plants not a dense you'll overdry your hard work. You overdry it and it'll never cure properly.

Hang them up, check them twice a day, when the outsides are dry put them in a big Tupperware container with a humidity meter. When sealed in the container the humidity should come up into the 60-70% range. If it goes higher it's still too wet, will mold, open that shit up and give it some air. Once your in that sweet spot open it up for a couple minutes every day until it only will get up to 60%ish when sealed. That's when you jar them.

Hay/Fresh cut grass smell is normal until they've had 2 weeks or so to cure.. After two weeks in the jar it'll be totally gone. Unless you overdried your buds like a goof and then all curing will stop and you'll have yuck buds forever.

NO!

Malathion is highly toxic to bees and other beneficial insects, some fish, and other aquatic life. Malathion is moderately toxic to other fish and birds, and is considered low in toxicity to mammals.

My buds dont smell like hay or grass at any point anymore. When they have, it didnt go away.

And dont write off @Kingrow1 entirely. He does have some good advice and experience. I may not agree with him on everything, but he isnt on ignore.

I don't think that's a good thing. That smell is the chlorofil breaking down into sugar. If your not getting it I suspect your either starving your girls so much before harvest there is basically no green left, which isn't so bad, but your leaving weight on the table. Or more likely your drying them out too much too soon and the enzymes don't even have a chance to start breaking it down, which means your buds are way harsher than they could be.

Or you are used to harvesting too early, or jarring too wet, and think that sort of smell is normal.

Back to the OP's question now, I would pull the plug

You may want to correct those that studied chlorophyll break down not me :-)
