I have a 1.2 x 2m tent with a 660w cooltube hps in the middle and 2 600w LEDs either side
(actual wattage of the LEDs 240watts each)
The plants are doing incredibly well with me having to cut off a lot of lower plant matter as they were too bushy and have just finished their 3rd week of flower already forming large bud sites so I know the mixed 1080watts of light is sufficient
I'll be happy with a kilo to last me almost a year but I'd rather have enough for the year as I prefer not having a set up in my home which I know I'll get close to off of this but the debate I'm struggling to have with myself is for the next 5 weeks do I enjoy the last of my wait while everything is paid for and the worst is over or do I dive into financial hardship by spending out 300 on an extra 2 240 watt LEDs taking the total to 1620w about 800watts per sum
Temps are fine, electric affordable and additional lights can be added without me having to tamper with the electrics all I want is everyones opinion on whether that will be overdoing it or not I probably spend 300 a month on weed at the moment anyway I feel it may be worth making sure I get enough
