is Just me or the leaves look too sharp and leathery?

been experimenting with watering techniques and this is currently what the plants look like, i kinda feel the leaves look darker or sharper than other peoples plants? or am i trippin.

i didn’t water them for like 4 days so they might be dry or something…should I water like moreso every 2 days? just don’t wanna overwater .. giving them about 1 liter of water each 3 gallon pot every 3-4 days. am i goofing? first grow ever.
