i have my walls and floor lined with the white/black plastic called panda film .i found a 50ft by 4ft roll of mylar from htg for $32 shipped would it be worth me putting a 4 ft piece about a foot from the floor on all the walls? the mylar would cover from the bucket to the top of the plants on 3 walls.not sure how to do the forth yet maybe i can tape it to the panda film.

mylar is generally a rip off; that is not a bad price. but you have to factor S&H too right?

emergency blankets are mylar and about $3(usd) at walmart. but hey isnt panda film supposed to be up there with mylar for reflection?

white paint is also a good cheap reflector

ive been thinking that the wrapers from poptarts would make an ideal reflective material

i think they say that mylar is 95% reflective, and semi gloss paint is 80 and flat white is 85%... i am not sure about panda, but i have heard a lot of peps use that instead of mylar.. i would say since you already have the panda film, save your money and buy something else that you could use for the grow as i am sure that its not gonna be that much more reflective than what you have now honestly...

so what it comes down to is; you already have proficent reflection, why not spend the money on another light, or some nutes or a bag of weed to tide you over while you wait for your harvest

Mylar has its disavantages, Its hard to clean and smudges very easily. I use contact adhesive to glue it to my walls. If it gets really dirty I just put another layer up. It will raise your temperature over panda film as its reflects a fair amount more heat.

I prefer it over panda film and Mylar is dirt cheap now thats its being pumped out of china. 100x4 foot rolls here in canada for around $50

its $32 shipped to my house. i have lights and everything i could need i'm now looking to get a little better,if i can,but if its going to raise my temps i'll just stick with the panda film ,its pretty good ,and as soon as my first crop is done i'll have 2 1000w hps in that 8x9 room.with maybe 20 plants?

what else is good is they got this project board that is super white and you can cut it to fit small growareas and theyre laminated so they hold well

cut a giant hole in the roof then augment with other small fusion explosions on the sides maybe get a star hook and reel an extra sun in at night
