Looking to just add water, probably in 5 gallon fabric pots, possibly 3 gallon.
Some ffof can run hot for some plants. I don't know anything about Nature's Living Soil, but FFOF can feed for about 3-4 weeks depending on how heavy feeding the strain may be.

If you can veg out a female first to maturity, then take clones. I'd run clones in the mixed soil. That will certainly be enough nutrient to take you to harvest. Mabey throw a few AACT drenches in the watering regimen for a bloom boost.

I was planning on mixing the nature's into the bottom third, with the OF up top to handle the earlier growth, though I am worried it might be a bit hot, so I'll probably just use neutral potting soil in solo cups to start off the seeds.

Yeah, you don't want to start seed or seedling off in FFOF. Way to hot. Best seedling mix in my opinion is plain coco and compost. Just make sure it has adequate drainage.

So i looked further. Natures living soil is a nutrient mix? They dont make soil ? Im dumb lol thats why ffof i get it. Not dumb enough to pay 45 for 5 lbs of dry amendments though. 5lbs of dr earth is like a ten spot.

Oh wow, that is WAY cheaper. What kind would I want for a just add water setup? I was looking into the Nature's stuff because it seemed like it would cost a fortune to buy everything I needed to make my own supersoil

Dr earth is dry ferts . Buy ff amend top dress with dr earth when the time comes . Pretty close to water only without paying 10 a pound

NLS says that 50$ bag makes 25 gallons , thats like two 1.5 cf bags of soil . Plus you have to buy or supply soil. At say 20-30 bucks a bag puts you at 100+ for 3 cf no thanks

Right? I was definitely balking at the price, but it was still cheaper than building a runoff system lol. And then you have to do soil analysis just to reuse it, yeesh.

Dang, it looks like I'll need3 products from dr earth, so it'll add up to about the same, just with way more mass for the same price

I basically use only water adding microbial benefits and what not lol but you will definitely need larger pots for a full grow unless your vegging them for like two weeks and flipping them I use 30 gallon pots I wouldn’t go smaller than twenty in a water only grow
