noo the rain water is the best thing to use tap water most likely has chlorine in it unless you have your own well-- dont get rain water thats been sitting outside for a while it could harm your plant you need fresh rain water

Rainwater has no nutrients in it. Where would they come from? It is however better than tap water, well water, RO water or distilled water. It is(usually, depending on where you live) naturally PH'd because it has not been filtetred in any way. Nothing has been added or detracted from it. It is the best source of H2O you can use for growing.

 Thank you for a good answer... I couldn't bring myself to type one up, because I believe his next question is "will direct sunlight hurt my plants?" ;p

You must be pretty stoned to not realize the same rain youd be using to feed your plants would be the same rain plants in your area have been using for millions of years. Unless you live in a place that ever gets acid rain you should be fine, but be sure and still pH test it before hand because it might not be what you expect.

ahahaa . So im quessinq this is False .
Lol stop smoking the good shit,I use tap but put out my plant when it's raining enough to get the soil drenched than relocate it under some shelter to keep them from drowning but I wait two days before the next watering but yeah rain is better water
