not sure what "safer soap" is, but if bugs are really pissing me off I'll wash a plant with soap. Never had a problem with it.

i always use regular, non scented dish soap. just put a dab or 2 in a spray bottle and fill with water. Spray your plants completly, especially underneath the leaves. Then come back in like 1 1/2 or 2 hours and rinse off plants with plain water whee you sprayed. You don`t have to rinse off, a few crops ago i would just leave it be without rinseing with no problems, but since i have heard it is better to rinse. All i know if i been doing this for years now when i don`t have any crop friendly bug spray, and it works amazing with all kinds of bugs.
and BTW when you fill the bottle up and spray on your hand, you basically want the spray to be a little soapy to where you can see the soap suds on your hand, but not too overpowerinw.

will safer soap damage my plants or buds?
if you don't use a fresh mixed solution it will.
The pistils will get dried out if you don't rinse it off before it dries, no big deal and would probably prevent pollination if you have a hermie risk anyways.
I wouldn't use it near harvest time, I thought I could tate it in some weed I grew.
