i was wondering, if you cloned a tomatoe, would the process be the same, as far as cuts, i heard that a tomatoe is pretty close in relation to marijuana. my real question is this, if i can clone a tomatoe, can i clone a pot plant in the same fashion? i was wondering because i see that alot of ppl have alot that goes into cloning, as far as rockwool, humidity domes, etc...., and i wasnt sure if those steps were to insure maximium % of ones that lived. anyway, i took a tomatoe plant and cut it as you would a pot plant, and basically threw it in some soil, and have just been keeping it slightly moist, and misting it daily, seems as though it started to wilt, and the began to grow roots. so can i do the same thing with pot?

you can, (alot of people do) but some will likely die, clone domes, and rockwool aren't necessary, but their cheap and an easy way of getting dozens of clones in a very small area, with a very high success rate. and with a grow plug like rapid rooters combined with a clone dome you only need to spend 3 minutes with your plants like ever 2 or 3 days.

yea you can do it wit out all that jazz i did it wit my blueberry clone but i will say the first 1.5 weeks were rough i didnt think she was gona make it and i kno if i had done all that stuff i think she woulda rooted much faster, but as tkc said you can jus stick it in soil n go jus have to keep a close eye on her good luck!
