Is the preflower stage?

I’m trying to figure out what nute ratio to feed and nit really sure what stage this is. Is this preflower? How much longer before I should switch to flowering nutes?

Thus is an auto on day 39 since sprouting and 32 since transplant into dwc. Had a slightly slow start due to leds being too close but there really taking off now.

It’s all up to you at this point. You can start flowering whenever. I would start transitioning to flower nutes once flowers start forming. And ease into it so you know how much the plant wants. If it looks hungry for more, add more. Shouldn’t need much. In fact during the first few weeks of flower it’s going to need veg nutes for the stretch.

Its preflowering now.
Start flowering nutes anytime now.

Its an auto......Stretch?
Lol Joker
All plants stretch. Autos may not stretch a lot, but they stretch. And since it is an auto, you should give it veg nutes until flowers are fully starting to form. So what’s the joke? Maybe you should do a bit more research on how cannabis grows and what it uptakes. Just by your posts, I’m assuming you haven’t done much growing and think you’re the shit because you harvested 2 ounces from one plant

Is definitely stretching right now. Drinking about 1/2gal per day and going up. I guess I’ll add flower nute mix as I refill.
Weird thing is the nute chart tells me to reduce overall ppm for a week. Why?

Yeah I seen that on some nute charts, I just continue the same ppm.
In fact some plants I have grown using only flower nute from beginning to end.

change nutes when you have lill cherries change to early they can't use it all.
Exactly. Feeding bloom nutes while the plant is still in veg will only create locks. During the stretch it has the highest demands for N actually... if the plant needs nitrate but one gives PK instead, locks N, deficient plant looses its leaves around weak 3 and grows only slowly crippling.
Keep it green

to throttle down unwanted stretch indoors. and make your plants bud not too leafy by starting to reduce certain elements, the plant can be forced to start using its own reserves.

your plants new growth comes out in good health, but some of the bottom leaves have strange spots. it's imperative to always show the whole plant + new top shoots + oldest fanleaves, as certain nutes are mobile inside the plant, while others not.

Ah ok. Makes sense. The progress isn't going as fast as some charts show, so I'm just trying to adjust on the fly. Not sure when I should start this "preflower flush" but I guess I can do a partial res change at the end of this week if I start seeing more flower-looking growths.

I started w/ tap and was getting some slow growth and weird yellowing leaves, so I switched to 20% tap, 80% RO without CalMag and that resulted in what appeared to be cal deficiency. Those were the first ~2 weeks. Since switching to all RO water and adding calmag, it's been fine. I still see random yellow spots (very very rare) so I'm thinking I may need to up the CalMag a bit (currently using 2.5ml/gal).

Also getting a few (2 or 3) leaves that have yellowed saw edges. Only on the older leaves and not sure what's going on. Plenty of DO in the water and using H2O2 as well.

Currently using this schedule and going into wk6

I use Floranova Bloom 4-8-7 start to finish.
After the initial charge is done.
Been doing it for years.
Never a problem.
Always a sweet harvest.
Weed. Chiles. Doesn’t matter.
Sure, you can be a phenom grower and push the envelope in all directions.
You can also keep it simple and have great results.
I think more folks get in trouble trying too hard, than they would with a single balanced bloom nute all the way through.
It’s the newbie forum after all.
