Is the smell right!

In the process of drying some random bag seed I got. One smells mmmmmmmmm. Other smells like a green banana. Is this ok? It’s been drying almost 2 weeks. Still not quite to the stem snapping point.

Get it in jars before stem snapping and burp the jars 6 times a day. Nasty smells will go normally... depends on if you harvested at right time

If you are trying to snap the branches then it will be bone dry by the time that happens. When people say it’s dry when the stems snap, they mean the thin stem that attaches the flower to the branch. It took me over a year to realize that.

If you chop early then the flower will lose it's good smell and end up smelling like lawn clippings or hay or perhaps a green banana. It's typical for weed to smell somewhat "green" when drying but if it's mature the terpy smell will return when dried all the way.
