Is there a way to keep the same strain by cloning with only one grow chamber?

I have a stealthed grow closet for my operation. I'm looking for a way to preserve my genes instead of wasting lots of cash on seeds. Due to the need of my closet to be stleathed, and that there is no room in my apartment for another stleathed chamber im asking if there is a way to clone and keep clones with only one chamber.

Taking clones while monther in flowernig?
Taking clones late in veg and keeping them in the chamber with the 12/12 schedule?
Cloning into a 12/12 schedule, when primary plant is done clone the clone and turn back to a vegetative state?

I've been trying to figure out a way to do this for months now and not getting to any conclusions.

very hard or impossible with one room.i used to be in your boat,then went to two rooms and have never looked back.but that was after i went legit and got my med card.i can totally understand wanting to be safe when your illegal,been there.

Simple to answer, Impossible.

If I was you i Would just try to find a small aread that you can thro some T5s for the clones. Then just put the clones into the main chamber with the mother when they are ready to flower with mother. Max time you will have the second chamber is 2 weeks of vegging a clone. It wont be forever.
